Elegant Apartments with Private Beach Access at Scandic Resort

Rare in Egypt and especially in Hurghada, the listing on booking.com is accurate. The photos are accurate, the property details are true. This owner offers peace of mind, is trustworthy. I shouldn’t have to mention “clean” as a good thing, everywhere should be clean, but it isn’t the case in Egypt or Hurghada. But this property was clean. Very nice! The decoration is nice, modern, to occidental taste. The plants, the finishes, the chest of drawer with the mirror are little touches that makes feel cozy. Not being treated like tourist meat. The bathroom is comfortable. Not perfect on everything, but for the price and in comparison with other scams in the same estate (not every Scandic flat is the same, far from it!!), this particular flat and owner are a perfect combo for us. The flat is big enough for fit comfortably a family of 4, with potential for 5.

Some minor aspects that didn’t bother us too much, she shower head tilting a bit. Minor. The sheets are silky but start to show tear (bubbles of fabric), so not as comfy as new silky sheets, but good enough. Bothered my wife but not me. Minor thing. Not enough to lower my rating of 9. The quality/price still deserves a 9.

La clim qui fuit.

The apartment is comfortable and was super clean. It has everything one might need. The resort is nice with 3 pools and a beach and a gym. The location is perfect and the hosts were very responsive and very cooperative.

Nice pools and private dock.

Some construction work in the building across the unit. Unit is a 1 bedroom not 2 as posted. Not important for us this trip but might be for others expecting two separate bedrooms. The other bed is in the shared living area where a couch would normally go.

Excellent location with a private soft sandy beach. Private clean well maintained swimming pool. Good WiFi speed, some eating places nearby.

Coral reef wasn’t in the near distance, but that was Okay. Water was crystal clear

We didn't like that a bed was right next to the door at the entrance to the apartment. This door doesn't reach the floor, the wind blows under it and there is noise. When we entered the kitchen there was a strong smell of food. The hood needs careful cleaning. The kitchen is not equipped with what is necessary for preparing a meal. The room has damp walls, with dampness and peeling paint, with the plaster ready to fall off.
