The caretaker of the property is very friendly and agrees to reasonable requests without hassle. The property itself is beautiful, classy and honestly feels like a home to live in. The ambience created there by the combination of the dwelling and the caretaker is really appreciable. The breakfast in the morning is amazing as well (ask for Aachaar!). The rooms are exactly as are the images uploaded in Booking.com. Easily the best homestay in Pan Bazaar area.

The Urban Grandeur is a homestay conveniently located in Guwahati, from here you can easily visit peacock island ferry terminal or the Fancy bazaar on foot. The host is friendly and welcoming, makes a good breakfast and can cook an amazing Assamese dinner for you. The rooms are clean, with comfortable beds and for Indian standards a minimum of noise from outside.

The host is very friendly and helpful, but he could work on his punctuality with time. As breakfast was a little later than originally agreed.
