It's close to the beach

We loved the location and views, the chalet was spotless and exceeded my expectations. We loved the balcony as you were able to sit in peace and just soak in the views. We will definitely recommend it and definitely be returning. The location was perfect to go exploring we headed down to Caswell beach which was a delight and we went into mumbles for a few hours. There are beautiful coastal walks with superb coffee shops on route.

Love the location - this chalet is on the hillside with beautiful green views. Very peaceful and relaxing. A better location from the rest of the chalets which are lower down and nearer the road. Be aware that there is a steep climb up the hill and then up steps to the chalet, but worth it for the view and privacy. 5-10 mins walks from the beach. There is a huge balcony area that runs around 2 sides of the chalet - catches the sun most of the day. We had family round and there was ample space to eat and relax together. The kitchen is well fitted, and there are comfy seating options. We loved our stay here.

Be aware that the double bedroom is small with the bed against one wall. My husband had to climb over me each time he got in and out of bed. But we managed! Might be a problem for those who are not so agile.

The location was great - lovely view from the balcony and very close the beach. Whilst tired the lodge was clean.

The mattress’s were extremely uncomfortable and appeared to be very old and in need of replacement. The main bed was also falling to pieces. The listing also stated the lodge had a dishwasher but it didn’t.

The location was just excellent , the property clean and had everything you need !

On arrival no one to greet us, on the booking form no mention of chalet number, enquired at Booking.com for further information, no mention of chalet number, no response from Mr Gavey after a number of calls, a response about one and a half hours later, he was rude and suggested that we already had the information, we did not have the information until he informed us of it, the holiday was ruined because of the lack of courtesy and planning from both Booking.Com and Mr Gavey in making sure we had the chalet number and key code, we are after all the customer and had paid a lot of money for this break
