Northampton Oasis - 4 Bedroom House

The house is great. Plenty of space and good facilities. The kitchen had lots of equipment which made cooking for the family easy.

The allocated parking space is at a really tight angle that was difficult to get our car into and to then get children out the car. The stairs in the property were also unsafe for small children, as they were wooden.

The house is great, spacious, and quirky. It was lovely & warm inside. The decor was great, even the cool barn-style bathroom door (not great for privacy) but amongst friends we didn't mind it. The gated access can be a bit of a faff, but it did make us feel safe and tucked away. There are 3 bedrooms: double, double, & double with single bunk. There's also a sofa bed of some sort in a seperate room downstairs.

It's a very tight-knit set of houses and we didn't get a warm vibe from the neighbours. There are hardly any mirrors so trying to get ready & sort my hair was near impossible - ended up using my phone camera to see what I was doing. You can hear everything within the house, for example if someone walks down the stairs or runs the kitchen tap, it's very noticeable. There's a noisy Cockerell within the area too which annoyed all of us in the early hours. Would have appreciated some guidelines of where to leave bins etc. upon checkout.

The house is very stylish and well presented . Ideal for a large group to get together.

Size and space

The house is lovely, nicely set up and has a cool look. Exactly what we were looking for.

The only thing was it was cold. The temperature in Northampton was very cold but we couldn't heat up the house. Maybe a few extra duvets would have helped.

Nice bedding. Good size. Close to Waitrose and a few nice pubs

Absolutely does not sleep 9. Downstairs double is 90cm wide (it’s a single bed) Not clean on arrival. Floor sticky in places. Floor not properly vacuumed with lots of debris on floor in manyrooms. Many kitchen items dirty. Dirty grill left in oven unwashed The “door” to the only bathroom and toilet is a piece of board on shutters that barely runs along a rail, is hard to move and often falls off the rail. It also provides little privacy. The bathroom looks nice but gets wet every time someone showers

The property was spacious and beautifully decorated. It was smelling great when we checked in. Great communication with facilitator, Sunny very kindly came out to the property to check on minor issues we were having. Lovely house really!

The house is tucked very tightly between other residential houses. Extra care needs to be taken to not constitute a nuisance to the neighbours.

The bathroom door not overly private and no 2nd bathroom but we were aware before we went there was only 1 bathroom, no dishwasher which would’ve been helpful and no where to hang clothes
