Great location, quirky room done to a high spec.

The decor was stunning. The breakfast excellent. Lovely bath. Comfortable bed.

Very uneven floors are to be expected in a building of this age. We struggled to get in as the instructions to the key safe said to turn it to the left and an employee passing by explained it has to be turned to the right first.

Location and the room was a great surprise

Location is great. Access super simple with a very informative welcoming text.

The key code to get in the bedroom

The room had an unusual design, the furniture was lovely,. The archways to the bathroom and bespoke glass doors were stunning. There was a beautiful tray filled with all breakfast goods for the next day. Delicious fruit, yogurt, milk, fruit juice and water in the fridge too. A great deal of thought had gone into the design of the room.

We were not expecting to be staying in a basement room. This would not have been a problem, the room was beautifully designed. As we opened the door we were hit by a very strong smell from the various room fresheners. A dehumidifier was on. The carpet was damp under foot, there were slug trails near the radiator (we were not able to put any bags on the floor). The bed mattress was too hard for us (I understand that it might be perfect for someone else) The bathroom design was incredible but the function not so good. You should not have to stoop to use the sink or go to the loo. We are not exceptionally tall at 5'8 and 6'. The room was not suitable to be used as a bedroom. I am sure that if we have stayed in any of the other rooms we would have been absolutely delighted with the design and effort made to make our stay a fabulous one!

The bed was so comfortable and the bath was incredible! Best nights sleep I’ve had
