Pigeon House - Unique Barn with private garden, hot tub and wood burner

Beaurfually renovated property with excellent facilities and warm,welcoming hosts. Hot tub was brilliant, beds comfortable and had everything we needed. Couldn’t fault anything and will definitely visit again.

Everything was brilliant

We had the most incredible weekend at the Pigeon House, celebrating a 30th birthday. The beautifully restored Pigeon house exceeded our expectations with its blend of original features and modern comforts. The weather was also absolutely perfect, which made our stay even more special. The spacious living area was ideal for our group, providing a welcoming space to relax and enjoy meals together. The bedrooms were stunning, with luxurious beds and elegant décor that ensured a restful night's sleep. The private enclosed garden was a highlight, especially with the fantastic weather. We spent hours in the hot tub, enjoying the sunshine and peaceful surroundings. The thoughtful touches throughout the property, from the well-equipped kitchen to the soft robes and slippers, made our stay feel truly luxurious. The Pigeon House is perfectly situated for exploring the beautiful Shropshire countryside and the charming town of Shrewsbury. In short, our stay at the Pigeon House was an unforgettable experience. It's the perfect destination for a special celebration or a relaxing getaway. Thank you, Adam and Elaine, for making our weekend so memorable. We can't wait to come back!

We didn't want to leave!

Adam & Elaine are the most fantastic hosts. They showed us everything we needed to know even providing crumpets, butter, milk & Prosecco…such a lovely touch then left us to enjoy their stunning property! They have thought of everything you could possibly need to relax & enjoy your stay…we really didn’t want to leave! We were hoping to relax & revive & that’s exactly what we achieved with the help of the probably one of the best hot tubs we’ve ever been in! Thankyou Adam & Elaine

Absolutely nothing!

Country side location was lovely,close to the lovely Shrewsbury, spotless cottage, very modern and well heated, lots of towels, nice touches with tea, coffee milk, cleaning products if needed, all cooking equipment, first aid kit if required, comfy beds, amazing showers, lots of boiling water, outdoor area very relaxing, spotlessly clean hot tub checked daily for cleanliness and chemical balance, parking great and a car charger which wasn’t required for us, no stairs all one level, nice board games, jenga, scrabble and connect 4 all in perfect condition. The owners are wonderful hosts and should be very proud of this place, we are delighted to have been allowed and welcomed to stay at this lovely cottage, we will return when we can.

Leaving at the end of our stay

We recently stayed at Pigeon House and could not fault the place, right from the warm, friendly welcome from Elaine to the wonderful, thoughtful little touches – our stay here was perfect! The accommodation was in pristine condition, exceptionally clean, and had an all-round luxury feel to it. The décor was beautiful – modern yet in keeping of the traditional style of the Victorian barn. The kitchen was immaculately clean, perfectly functional, and equipped with plenty of utensils and working appliances. The bedrooms provided a cosy and inviting atmosphere, and most importantly – wonderfully comfortable, cloud-like beds! The bathrooms were decorated to a modern and high-standard and included bathrobes, well considered toiletries, and the most delicious smelling handwash/ cream that were made locally! The yard was spacious and well-groomed – and the hot tub was a good size and clinically clean!  Adam instructed us through the workings of the hot tub, which was simple and comprehensible enough for us to use - allowing us to have the most incredible time! Overall, it wasn’t just the stunning accommodation and hot tub that made it an outstanding stay, it was the host’s attentive and accommodating nature that truly made it for us!
