Bird Nest - Hanthana

It’s really not how the pictures are. We were put into a basement first and everything was just dirty. Then two of us were based at the upper level where at least the air was better and was brighter but sheets were spotty, everything was dirty, no hygiene at all. We were glad just to say one night.

They have given the rooms we reserved via booking.com to some walk-in guests. And had the audacity to tell us that they don't check any online reservation after 6 pm. Knowing We got the confirmation and there was no such rule mentioned under property policies even. Instead of apologizing they guided us all the way up to Hantana mountain and mentioned the whole scenario after only we almost reached the location.

The view from the balcony is stunning. At night, you can see the entire town illuminated with lights, and in the morning, the mountain range comes into view. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming.

There are no clothes hangers in the bathrooms, which was a bit inconvenient.

Our room was so lovely (and romantic) with breathtaking views of the mountains.And the host is the owner of the property and she was very accommodating and friendly....recommended to anyone...

The view was beautiful. It was a quiet place. It's a walking distance (stairs) from a grocery store and a restaurant. Big rooms with comfortable beds.

It's important to know that there is no WiFi in the place. The attending staff was nice and tried to be helpful but didn't speak English at all.
