GBThe room was spacious and clean and smelt delightful. The room far exceeded my expectations. Disappointing there is no car park. Facilities in room were perfect. If you’ve forgotten your charger there is a charging pad! Shower is excellent and the bed is super comfy. Would definitely recommend.

No soap / shower gel so had to purchase for 2 guests in a heatwave. However we were unsure if this was included so not an issue to purchase.
USVery well situated both for exploring Tavistock and for easy access to the road to Dartmoor. Pleasant staff.
GBThe hotel/pub has been redecorated since my previous visit some years ago, it's full of old English charm with friendly staff and good food. Due to the bar size not being huge it retains the ability to be snug and charming. Will stay again.
I think a new bed mattress could be due.
