So cheap

Not the first time I slept here,also went here when they just got started.It was a good choice. *Value for your money if you need a place to sleep at Corvin area. *room is surprisingly soundproof and clean. *toilet clean,shower also. *I was happy to bring some toilet paper with me. I read some guests missed out sometimes. But to be fair,I was here for two nights. When I checked in at Thursday there were about 6 new rolls of toilet paper available excluding the one at the toilet. When I checked out at Saturday 03.00am there was nothing left? Only an empty plastic bag. So how was that possible?. *Enter the big brown gate,walk up the little stairway at your left to find your key box all five boxes have a name so it is easy to find which key box belongs to your booking. Appartements are in the building where you at,the rooms at the other side as noted on the wall. Go down,a few steps left and then go up the stairway and enter. In front off you,you can see the door with a big sign on it. *Walkable distance to Kalvin Ter 100E bus stop after midnight if you have a morning flight. *aldi *public transport M3 and a few tramlines *this time I didn’t use public transport to get around Budapest,if you like to walk,just walk and find some hidden gems.

For me (Dutch) it was kind a weird that I couldn’t lock my door at the inside of the room. There was a lever in the inside. A knob at the outside. I texted them and they explained how and why within a few minutes so no worries Keep in my mind you always have to take the keys with you if you close the door when you are going to the bathroom. A bathing math at the shower and washing table would be fine.

Imádtam, hogy amikor megérkeztünk, akkor értettem meg miért bed n beer, hát mert volt ott egy kocsmaszerűség :D Nagyon hangulatos kis hely.

The pub is really noisy till the midnight.

Honestly, when I read the reviews, I was kind of scared. But the room was pretty cozy, it was clean and you pay about 20€ for a room in the heart of Budapest within a pretty nice bar. Also I can't agree with problems of loudness. Especially for being that close to the bar I was even surprised how silent it was. All in all I was pleasantly surprised and expected a lot worse regarding the former reviews

The check in is a bit complicated with the extra app and finding the right door etc., but it's manageable. Also the availability of shampoo would be nice (had to shower with liquid hand soap😀). Furniture is a bit worn out, but again you pay about 20€ for a room in the city center. Only real complaint is that it was offered as a room with a double bed and in reality there were two single beds, which was a bit disappointing.
