Comfortable. Loved the artifacts and decorations! Feels very private and secure. Extremely quiet at night - just the evening breeze and a few animals off in the distance. The sauna was a real treat!

"If you are looking for a mountain retreat close to town & the beaches this is the place."

The cabin was quiet, rustic, & is surrounded by trees with a view looking toward the ocean. The location is only 10 minutes from Brookings & 5 minutes from many local beaches. What I especially enjoyed was bathing in the claw foot bath tub overlooking the mountain view from a large picture window listening to the birds. .Wow ... so peaceful and relaxing. I also like the fact that earth (eco) friendly cleaning products and soaps are used. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

We did have a slight mixup with the key code, as it was changed from our original e-mail & sent in a second e-mail that was unread. I was able to phone the owners and they got back to me with the right #.

"Wonderful 2 beds house in a great location!"

Lovely 70s feel house in the forest. Very private area and easily reachable from the main road. The house was equipped with everything we needed. Owners were on hand when needed and replied to every message.

"This cabin is a peaceful place for a little get-away!"

Oh my goodness! What a lovely place to stay. The view from the back porch overlooking the big backyard, forest and night sky was incredible. The cabin was decorated so cute and had beautiful artwork, much of it made by one of the hosts, throughout the cabin. It was fun looking around to discover what artwork was in each room. The sauna was very relaxing as was the little area to cool off behind it. And soaking in the deep claw-foot bathtub with views of the trees was magical! It was quiet and peaceful at night too. The hosts were also very responsive to texts and gave us suggestions on restaurants and places to visit. My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back again.

We loved everything about it!
