Puck's Retreat Bed & Breakfast

The breakfast was simple cereals, toast eggs (fresh from the chickens on site) tea or coffee. This was plenty to set you off for the day. Shipton on stour was just down the road with takeaways, pub and shops. The location is in easy reach of the Cotswold. The accommodation was like having your own apartment, the outside decking area was lovely and very relaxing. We stayed on route to Southampton for a cruise and also stayed here on our return to break the journey up. Sara was lovely and was always on hand for anything we might need.

There is a busy road that runs by the side of the property. But after a while we did not notice it and certainly when inside we did not hear it.

We enjoyed our stay. Sara was a very friendly and helpful host who gave us lots of ideas about what to do nearby. The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast suited us really well.

Everything was perfect. Nice and quiet and very comfortable.

Nice new facilities. Scrambled eggs were tasty. Bed also quite comfortable enough for two adults who usually don't feel like sharing.

The privacy and layout of the accommodation. The friendliness and helpfulness of the host.

I enjoyed the breakfast. I thought the eggs were exceptional. Sarah was a very pleasant and friendly host. Bed was comfortable. Shower was better than at home and my wife was singing its praises.

I was a little chilly in the night but there are two relevant factors. I think that was likely to be a physical problem with me. Secondly I didn’t even mention it Sarah the host so therefore she wasn’t even able to suggest a remedy.

A little dated inside but still very lovely, full English breakfast would have been nice but not available

Lovely comfortable bed and fantastic shower. Hosts were very welcoming. Having a fridge in the room was a bonus. Unfortunately we didn't have the weather to use the patio area, but I should imagine it would be very pleaseant sitting there in the sun with the countryside around you. A pleasant stay!
