La posizione era perfetta vicinissimo al mare. Ampio giardino all’esterno.

Nella struttura c’era odore di muffa, anche il climatizzatore appena accese puzzava di muffa.

"Very uncomfortable stay with an unfriendly female host on the phone"

Good location, maybe 15 min walk to the beach, some restaurants near by

Our review is specially for winter guests. However, our hosts behaved not nice, so think about to rent it also in summer. When we arrived at around 6pm the apartment was super cold. The hosts didn't warm up the apartment during day and the air conditioning, which also works as the heating system with hot air in winter, was too weak to heat up the apartment. The inside temperature stayed at maximum 15 degrees and the moisture was inside more than 80% (we measured it), because they had construction at the apartment above us. We couldn't even sit in the living room in the evening and needed our own sleeping bag in addition to be warm at night. Next day the hosts gave us an old electric heating ventilator (they said they ll buy a new one...). That worked fine, but probably needed a lot of electricity. So when we used in the evening of our 2nd night the air conditioning and the electric heater in addition with the provided hair dryer, the main circuit breaker outside the apartment on the street blowed. Even the electric main door for the property didn't work anymore so we were caged for a while at the property. The (friendly) male host came to solve the problem, but the female host, we only talked with her on the phone, was very unfriendly. She said things like if we expect to be in the Caribbean, and blamed us for blowing the fuse. Never experienced that behavior with hosts... We only wanted to have a nice stay in a warm apartment. And even in winter times we should expect that we can make it comfortable warm in a rental apartment, right? Last, we asked friendly for a partial refund for our inconvenience, but they didn't agree for any. And booking.com told us, they cannot do anything but we can write a review. So here it is. Think good about it if you want to rent this place!

"Pleasant"

Overall, it was quite convenient to park the car in front of the entrance and bring all our luggage inside without any hassle. However, it was hard to get a true sense of the property from the pictures, and the house was a bit less than we expected. There were no major problems, but it lacked the homey feeling you expect when booking an entire property. Technically, all the kitchen equipment was there, the beds were comfortable, and the inside of the house was clean.

It was explained that construction work was happening on the second floor, which is why some materials were placed in the garden. I understand that building materials might be stored there, but if you expect guests, it's only normal to ensure the garden is clean and free of rubbish. Unfortunately, the reality was quite different. The garden was in poor condition, which prevented us from enjoying the outside terrace. I didn't feel comfortable sitting in a place surrounded by rubbish. My son even cut his foot on a sharp tile chip, which were scattered around the garden. Additionally, the outdoor plastic chairs and table were so dirty that we had to bring out chairs from the kitchen. These are simple issues that don't require big investments, just someone who cares.
