B&B Il Castello

In Bari Vecchia. Breakfast was round the corner. It was super clean. Nice modern decor. Comfortable bed. Air conditioning. There was water in the fridge in the room. Coffee, tea and little snacks downstairs.

Pillows were a little too hard for me.

The location was central to all the attractions of the old town, and also only about a 3 minute walk to the bus stops to get to the beaches. The reception area was nice and had complimentary drinks & snacks.

The shower area in our room was TINY. The water pressure was great though. Also we had one large hold-all bag between us and due to a very tight and steep spiral staircase to access our room, we had to leave it downstairs in the communal reception area.

Welcome biscuit, different snacks, refreshing drinks cooled in the fridge, caffe station, nice renovated, stylish interior, lovely balcon, location directly at the castle, 5 min walk from a beautiful authentic italien square, 20 min.from railway station, 10 min.from the sea. Ordinary breakfast in the price, nothing special but fresh baked croissant and tasty caffe, so italien. :-) The host speak english well.

The bathroom is unbeliveable small, planned for hobbits perhaps, but clean, equipped.

Easy to find, good location, very clean.

The host, Pietro, was extremely helpful and was always quick to respond to queries and requests. His place is well-located -- practically a neighbor of the Castello and excellent local dining places.

1. Location: appartments are located in the authentic but very good renovated building just in the heart of Old Town! 2. Very clean premises, fresh after renovations, everything is new inside (big variety of clean new towels), great water preassure, coffe (very good freshly brewed coffe), tee, cookies in the lobby available all the time. We stayed for 5 days, the linen was changed and cleaning of the room done on the 3rd day. 3. Good communication with the host, very clear instructuctions regarding appartments, keys, available services. The host could not offer us the possibilities to keep the luggage before the check in (which is at 14:30) but made his best to prepare the rooms earlier (12:30) 4. Breakfast is served from 7 till 11 in the nice bar just around the corner to the right after you go out of the town arch. For the breakfast you will get a big fresh warm croissant with a cup of tee or coffee (no other variants of breakfasts are offered at this bar).

1. Everything is very tiny and small, stairs are tiny and narrow, watch your head when climbing to the 2nd floor))no place even to sit (neither in the room nor in the lobby). In the lobby there was one chair for an adult and 2 tiny things for kids or hobbits )), veeery small table, which was not fixed to the bottomleg, so you will not spend much time in the lobby )) Absolutely no place for any closes storage, no shelves at all, you closes have to stay at the luggage bags 2. No knife, folk, spoon, bottle screwer, no place even to drink vine or wash and eat fruits which you can buy in big abundance in Italy 3. Absolutely no toiletries except for the soap (no shampoo, showergel, sponges, etc) 4. IMPORTANT: no possibility to leave luggage which causes a lot of inconveniences as the check out is at 10:00
