9 Stoney Way Cottage

We had a delightful weekend here. The facilities in the cottage were very complete, and there was even a white noise speaker. Keryn also prepared some small surprises for us. The only pity was that the weather suddenly turned cold and we couldn't swim.

The plug in the bathroom sink is broken.

The cottage was perfect for our overnight stop and there is a stunning view of the sunset over the Drakensberg from the patio.

Road noise was a bit of a problem, but Keryn did everything in her power to mitigate this from providing earplugs to white noise speakers in the bedrooms. It wasn't much of a problem overnight, but some early morning trucks did break the peace.

There was a district power failure throughout our stay yet we still had hot water, backup inverter power for computer work, gas hob and oven for cooking and a very helpful hostess in Keryn.

Location is great for access to the main attractions in the area Brain Fireplace Wood supplied to get started Good cutlery coffee machine

Everything was at your disposal. They had board games, sewing kit, heater fan, cellphone chargers, coffee machine, a file with the area attractions as well as restaurants nearby.

The wifi signal was bad it was on and off most of the time. That was not the fault of the venue but area itself.
