Location. Close to all the sights

Impecable accommodation ,lovely personal welcome with advice about what to see and best places to eat .Excellent location ,super comfortable bed and pillows and state of the art shower

Smelt of stale cigarettes, no natural light whatsoever, we were given a different apartment to the one we had booked, noisy air conditioning.

Location , owner , facilities

The location was good. Cross the road and climb the steps to the right of the cathedral and you are in the heart of the town. The apartment would be ideal if staying a few days. The apartment was very clean and the owner friendly.

Language difficulties with me speaking no Spanish and he speaking no English. Nearby street parking was difficult (impossible) but for 15 euro we parked in his private underground garage arranged after we arrived. Silly things like not knowing how the shower worked or the new cooking hob could have been solved with instructions being left. The owner came over later to show us how the shower worked and that left me feeling stupid. You must give your arrival time in advance or have to wait outside. So nobody else feels stupid the photo shows the shower. Each knob turns but you have to pull outwards the little lever to get it working.

The property was clean and simple but nicely appointed. The bathroom was great with everything we needed. There was a big TV - great to watch the Euro Football final! The owner was extremely helpful and even came out especially to us when we could work the shower. He didn’t speak any English but we managed. The property was very close to the cathedral and the main square, so many restaurants. It was close to the motorway and great for our one night stop en route back to the U.K. There was a lovely walk along the river about 5 minutes walk away.

The property was on a busy main road with nowhere to even stop to unload. As we had a lot a luggage including a dog it was a bit of a problem. There was no parking but we arranged with the owner to use his parking downstairs in the garage for 15€ which was a godsend to us as there was a lift to the garage.
