Excellent facilities in a great location, really enjoyed our stay!

Lovely clean, quiet and a good location away from the hustle and bustle of Brighton but good bus service

Simply the perfect getaway for a one-week-stay in Brighton. Dedicated parking space right in front of the door, wonderful private patio/garden 5 metres away from the boats of Brighton Marina, spotlessly clean apartment with all amenities you can think of. Upon arrival, Esther - the owner - provided us with everything we needed to know to check in, plus everything else - literally every single detail. The apartment is small but extremely cosy (we - mom, dad, teenager) never had any issues getting on each others nerves. Plenty of restaurants/pubs/supermarket/cinema in the Marina. And it only takes a 10min walk to either use the vintage "Volk's Railway" to Brighton centre (10 mins) or the bus (which is even closer and takes you to all the stops in the centre in appx. 10mins as well). I especially recommend this apartment for small families like ours with teenage kids. Trust me 😉

Nothing negative. Only one suggestion: The "kid's mattress" on the living room "bed" could do with a slightly thicker mattress (as ist is really, really not comfortable - even for a 14-yr-old's spine).

The accommodation was clean and well presented. We were also given a complimentary lemon cake home made by the owner. Excellent information and guidance was given throughout our stay with a refresh of towels.

There was nothing not to like.

The apartment was lovely, warm and cosy, the parking space was right next to it. Everything you would need was there. Including a delicious welcoming lemon drizzle cake, milk, tea, coffee and towels, it even had a bath.We loved it and will be back.

Esther's (the owner) instructions were easy to follow. The communications from her before we travelled were very welcome and useful. We needed ground floor accomodation because of my wife's mobility problems, so this apartment was ideal. Another bonus was an allocated parking spot, which wasn't easy to find in other properties in Brighton. Being right in the Marina area was great as all sorts of cafes, restaurants and other facilities were nearby, plus Brighton centre is not far away. We didn't use the local buses, but from other visits to Brighton we know they provide a frequent and good service. The apartment is great, with a separate bedroom, and well equipped kitchen, and is close to the local restaurants and other facilities. Another bonus was tea and coffee making facilities and a lovely lemon cake waiting for us on arrival. The outside space (a terrace with table and chairs and pots of flowers was a nice extra. We didn't use it as the November weather was cold, but it would be lovely in warmer weather.
