Onsen was amazing, bed was super comfortable and although it was a long walk from town it was a short taxi ride so I was actually very convenient! Host was very sweet and accommodating. 10/10 would stay again

The property is in a remote location, but being surrounded by nature gives it a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are like a traditional ryokan and the entire house is very charming and homey. The host is absolutely incredible. He was very hospitable and extremely kind. We know no Japanese, but he knew enough English to communicate well with us. We reserved with dinner and breakfast included, and both were delivious. It was just what we needed after a really long hike and the host graciously offered us a second helping, even though he served us so much food, especially for dinner! The onsen itself is amazing, so relaxing, able to fit two people, and has a great view of nature. The location is a long walk uphill from from the train station (some parts with no sidewalk) which we did on our way there, but it was absolutely worth it once we made it there and the host graciously offered us a ride back to Tobu Nikko station in the morning. Would definitely stay again!!

We had a lovely stay here! The rooms were so cute and comfortable and our hosts were so kind. The onsen was always clean with a very relaxing atmosphere. I would love to return here during my next trip to Nikko.

The bath is so lovely and has a forest view, it was like the perfect temperature！ the staff where so lovely, and it was very convenient to be driven into town in the mornings.

The location is very inconvenient, as there are no restaurants nearby and you have to book meals with the booking, you cannot buy them on the property. It means it is very difficult to organise meals accordingly if you did not buy meals with the booking. Also there is no public transportation in the afternoon to get back to the accommodation, and the Taxis are a bit pricey so we had to walk.

L'hôte est très accueillant. Le logement correspond à l'annonce. Les deux bains chauds face à la forêt sont un gros point fort. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. La note de 6,8 au moment de notre réservation n'est pas du tout méritée. Ce n'est pas proche du centre ville mais c'est précisé dans l'annonce.

Pas de volets dans la chambre, mais nous nous levions tôt donc ça ne nous a pas dérangé.
