"Had to leave."

Nothing.

The owners unfortunately. Had to leave mid stay because of their attitude - never had such a bizarre experience especially in Europe. Inconsistent and rather rude, they're just not hospitable nor have basic courtesy. It started as a simple nuisance at the beginning but after a certain point when the owner started making racist remarks I had to report to booking.com & leave -- which obviously was not convenient at all. It was an incredibly stressful experience during a busy time. I am yet to receive any compensation for any of this by the way! Other inconveniences: No elevator, yet at 3rd floor (pretty tough time hauling bags up & down the narrow staircases) Small & old TV (not a huge deal unless you're into netflix/playstation etc.) More importantly: No heating provided by owners during in cold nights (when it's 7 degrees celsius outside). Do not ask for them to turn it on or they'll scold you for it. I never had such a issue anywhere else in Italy, in any season. In general it has good looks but lacks warmth both literally (cold at night) and metaphorically (unwelcoming). There are cheaper options nearby with a similar setup, less nightly cost and much more cordial hosts. I wouldn't risk it with this one honestly.

Really nicely renovated apartment in the heart of Sesto Calende. We love the village and to find a new place here is really special. Two lovely bedrooms, beautiful bathroom, well equipped kitchen, and comfortable living area make this apartment a great place for those staying in Sesto. Quiet, located in a courtyard, yet 50m from one of the main piazzas in town. Self service entry and comprehensive instructions on how to find the house and the features of the house are also very helpful. Highly recommended!

Everything was really great for our one night stay. Only suggestion would be to show a total price when searching for the apartment. The pricing shows up with a caveat for a cleaning fee and taxes, which are no problem to pay, it just feels a bit like a "hidden" fee and would be easier for customers to have one price and the property managers split out that cost to the various services.
