Best of both worlds!

The kitchen is a bit tired and could do with some TLC, but you have all the basics for cooking - I would probably replace the hob for a gas because those hot rings are dangerous. Heating is awkward to get right but the manager was great at giving us instructions. Showers aren’t the best - electric so naturally not as powerful but did the job. Couches - they need to be changed as they are the most uncomfortable things in the world! Tv - change to a smart tv. Beige carpets are a no in any house but not the end of the world as there’s plenty of space for boots/coats.

The tranquil surroundings were just what we needed. All you could hear were the birds. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us. We cooked dinner on 3 nights and had all the equipment we needed. Sitting in the garden watching the sunset was lovely, very private. Slept really well.

The lane leading to the property could do with a trim and it was very uneven on the suspension.

Great secluded location near Truro and equal distance from most seaside places in Cornwall. Really lovely cottage with lots of space and comfortable beds. Sofas were a little uncomfortable and TV had poor signal.

We loved our stay and will be booking again for next year , so much space and nothing was to much trouble for our host Dan , lovely man full of recommendations for us and he always replied to us super fast .

Clean, tidy, fully equipped for our need. Plenty of room for everyone

What a lovely place! We enjoyed our stay very much indeed. The cottage is spacious, welcoming, bright, warm and clean. And, very well equipped. Everything you could possibly need was there. Just like a home from home. The owner was very helpful and responsive to our questions. It is also dog friendly and we did not need to pay extra for our pet dog to stay with us.

The holiday cottage is in the middle of the countryside, which is lovely, but the access lane to the property is very rustic and narrow. However, although our car is very long and wide, it wasn't a problem for us as my husband is not spatially challenged the way I am. :-)

The cottage was semi remote which we liked as we live on a farm. There was lots of dog walking. The cottage itself was reasonably well equipped. The beds were reasonably comfortable and the kitchen was laid out nicely with a big dining room.

The cooker filter was filthy and the job and the oven. The lack of the dishwasher in its housing unit which was screwed up. And the sink would benefit from an angled wood drainer to place the dishes on. The shower in the master didn't drain away so we took out the shower plug and with the aid of a fork pulled out a mass of hair. Also as a dog friendly place the gate could do with some mesh over the cut out to stop a dog getting out and the corner wall next to next doors trellice could do with some trellice to stop a dog getting over the bank.
