The property was clean and spacious

The fact that it is located on street level and was incredibly noisy so we struggled to sleep. Bin lorry stopping outside and people talking at all hours of the night.

Decent location, 20ish minute walk to the centre of the city, spacious

Door was right on the main square, probably wouldn’t feel safe on my own

Completamente delusa

Unfortunately, our experience was extremely negative and very different from what we had booked. We arrived at the apartment at 22:00 after our trip and found the accommodation in completely unacceptable conditions: the apartment was dirty, the bed was unmade with used sheets, and towels had been left on the floor. It was obvious that the room had not been cleaned or prepared for our arrival. We immediately contacted the property, and from that moment an exhausting wait of several hours began. We were stuck in the dirty apartment until late at night without any concrete solution, unable to have dinner and unable to properly start our vacation. Only around midnight were we informed via WhatsApp that they had found an alternative accommodation for the first night, but at 00:30 we were still waiting for someone to pick us up. We finally arrived at the new accommodation at around 01:00 in the morning. The alternative accommodation was clearly inferior to what we had booked and paid for: * old and poorly maintained room * different location, farther from the area we had specifically chosen * small bed, not a double bed * only one pillow * shared bathroom instead of private * old bathroom with a bathtub instead of a shower * dirty towels present in the bathroom * only one set of towels for two people We even had to wait longer to receive a second towel set, which only arrived at 01:23 in the morning. We had also been told that we could stay in the temporary accommodation as long as necessary, but at 09:00 the next morning we were woken up and forced to leave the room to allow another check-in. We were then promised that the original apartment would be ready at 11:00, but in reality we could only access it at 12:30, losing another half day of our vacation.
