Location was just off the main upper bhagsu road, but felt very quiet even though located close to many cafes and restaurants. The hot water was very hot and available for showers all the time. They arange daily activities for everyone that you're welcome to participate in or not.

The internet in my room went out almost daily. But it seemed better and more stable in the cafe area. The WiFi is on a generator and remains up during the regular power outages. Sometimes music in cafe was pretty loud.

I spent a week at The Void, and it was a place like no other. Nestled on a quiet street in Bhagsu, it offers beautiful forest views, every day you get to watch monkeys hanging about, hear birds chirping, and even spot donkeys being shepherded through. Definitely book a room with a balcony, mine faced the forest and it made the whole experience even more special. The rooms are spacious, with big beds and a cupboard, making them great for longer stays. As a remote worker, this place is perfect, they have high-speed WiFi, a dedicated coworking space, and reliable electricity backup, so working from here felt easy and stress-free. Each morning, heading down to the café, you’re welcomed by soothing mantras, which sets such a calm tone for the day. The food is great too, with options ranging from pancakes to hearty thalis. The staff are warm and incredibly helpful, from itinerary suggestions to arranging transport. A special mention to the community manager, Rajeswari, who organizes hangouts like movie and art nights, which really adds to the experience. As a solo female traveller, feeling safe is very important to me, and this place absolutely delivers on that. I also loved staying in Bhagsu, it’s a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of McLeod Ganj. Highly recommend, without a doubt. Also a shoutout to Nikhil, the driver they arranged for my airport transfer and trip to Bir, I felt completely safe with him, and he’s a very skilled driver.

If you’re visiting during colder months, it’s best to come prepared. Heating isn’t central, which is quite typical for stays in this price range in India, so rooms can get a bit chilly. Heaters and heated blankets are available on request at an additional charge. The beds are big and comfortable, though they might feel a little firm if you’re not used to it. There’s also a table and chair available in the coworking space downstairs, which is convenient, though a slightly more ergonomic setup would make it even better for longer work sessions.

Location and the decoration of the reception

Advertised as a community but my whole week there make me reallize that this place is void of essence. The only little thing going on, is mostly in group chat. Room is cold and not clean. Clustered and I have to reorganize the furniture myself to feel comfortable. Staff’s only concern is “do you want to order food and drink?” Anything you ask, have to wait even when I ask for the bill, took them over 24 hrs to get them ready. Bills are not accurate. Overcharge on few items that I have to call them out on. In terms of location it is good for me but don’t expect more than another commercial place. You will be disappointed

立地が良く、うまくスコールを避けながらレストランに行けました。また、1階のカフェのチャイが美味しかったです。スタッフはみんな優しいです。夜はゲームをしたり、お菓子を食べたりしました。停電しても1階は電気が来てるのでそこで充電できました。

部屋はあまり清潔ではなく、前の人の食べ残しやタバコ、髪の毛が残っていました。隣で工事をしているので日中はうるさいです。大雨が降ると客室はすぐ停電します。
