The Grove 1-Bed Cheltenham Town Centre Apartment with Private Parking

Great location. Had everything that was needed in the property

It was very cold when we arrived

The property was lovely and was situated in a really accessible location. The check in details were very clear and it was a really lovely stay. Very clean and well looked after.

The checkout time is bizarrely early and the staff didn't respond to our messages about a later checkout.

We booked the ground floor apartment however due to a maintenance fault we were swiftly moved to the top floor apartment. The staff were excellent in resolving the unforeseen situation. The apartment was excellent, well equipped and comfortable. The location was great. We booked, in particular, for the on-site parking with EV charger. The EV charger worked well, with the car charging overnight (42p/Kwh).

The parking spots are narrow and the ground floor parking spot is particularly tight due to the location of the bin store fence and perimeter wall. It takes some getting into with a mid-large sized car.

The apartment was clean, it had good facilities and was within walking distance of the town centre.

The shower didn't work properly and went from boiling hot to cold repeatedly. The kitchen wall was damp with mould coming through and the parking space was ridiculously small and tight up against the bin store so it was impossible for a passenger to get in or out of the car. The mattress on the bed was also very poor and sank in the middle.

Parking for this flat could have been easier as the bins were at a slant by the allocated parking space and with the curved bedding made it difficult to reverse out.

Lovely clean apartment good size we didn't use the facilities much cause we were out everyday till late so basically just slept here but it was a well equipped kitchen bathroom etc everything you needed for a stay away from home

The bed mattress and pillows definitely needs replacing. The mattress when you sat down on edge you sink and the edge rises up behind your legs and then when laying down me and my partner rolled into eachother there's soft mattresses which i can appreciate but this was way to soft for anyone I know if I hadn't had a few drinks in me i definitely wouldn't have been able to sleep and the pillows are all lumpy like they have been washed and gathered up in glumps. If them 2 items are replaced it would be rated excellent 👍🏼 and I'd definitely return 😊

There was no breakfast which we already knew about. There was tea/coffee available

If we were being a little picky the traffic noise could be a little annoying although we did get used to it

Amazing location, had everything we needed including a washing machine and a good shower.

Very noisy upstairs neighbours! Also the bedroom is level with a busy main road so loud at night and the traffic lights shine through the window
