Bethel Nook, a cosy stay in the Welsh Valleys

Such a cute and cosy little nook full of thoughtful personal touches and very well equipped. Jess and Adam were most welcoming and it was a very peaceful stay. Highly recommend as a great place for couples!

Liked it was modern and clean. Some nice touches such as coffee and puzzles and books for guests. Sofa bed was comfortable. Hosts seemed friendly.

Mobile signal on ee and 3 was non existent. This wasnt the fault of the hosts. But... The shared WiFi was poor only sharing 2 bars. The upstairs bed was dangerous to get to and not a pleasant experience at all. There was no hot water most of the time, warm at best. Faulty electrics, ie sockets not working, half of one of the electric radiators working. Cold draughts and hard to get the place warm. Was surprised to see there was no microwave.

Cosy little tiny house with very good access to Bannau Brycheiniog for day trips to explore/walk. We particularly liked having a well stocked kitchen with utensils and essentials, which you don’t always get with accommodation - definitely made self catering a lot easier.

The loft bed is very cool, however it is very high (as explained by the hosts in the listing) which was fine for us but definitely something to be aware of, as at night time in the dark it feels a bit precarious without light switches to turn on.

Lovely little place to stay, was clean and cosy.

Cosy, well designed and homely and right on the edge of the Brecon Beacons.

Almost everything

The stairs were quite vertical to go . But I guess that is what it had to be looking at the space . Kids had fun using it though . And the outdoor key holder was little bit tricky to close .
