8 Star Paradise

Thanks for tuna fish evening!!! Two times owner makes for us grill fish on the beach!!! Nice place just to relax and doing nothing!!!

Fantastic to wake up to sea views and sounds. Great restaurant right next door. Mike and his family went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable including preparing great breakfasts and a couple of grilled fish meals for the family. An exceptional stay and we’d fully recommend!

Nothing that we didn’t like. The family bungalow was a little small for two adults and two teenagers but would be fine for smaller kids. We just rented another bungalow for one of our teens no problem.

Located on a Beautiful beach. Very friendly accommodating family run. 8 Star is both rustic and sublime. Got to watch a sea turtle crawl up the beach lay and bury 3 doz. eggs then swim away in the moonlight.

No complaints at all, but, I suggest bringing and using insect repellent.

The people here are super friendly and helpful. The place is located at the beach which means you'll have a beautiful view for your whole stay. The food was also delicious.

It was perfect. Absolutely magical being in this bamboo hut with the best view ever and the kindest hosts. Mike cooked our family fresh fish on the beach in front of the hut. It really was dream like!

Not welcoming, facilities very very poor.

It is a family owened accommodation and therefore it makes you feel warmly welcomed. To begin with a freshly cutted coconut welcome drink. The stuff was very friendly and helped with everything we needed. All the transfers and also some remarkable activities were organised for us. As it is located directly at the beach there is always the possibility to go for a refreshing swim.

The main way to get to the accommodation leads across a foot bridge which is commonly used by the people who live there, but maybe a little bit adventurous for some tourists. If you don't want to go on that little adventure, there is also another street which leads to the accommodation.

a magical, hidden paradise. a 40 min trip outside of el nido town, but that's why its special. a quiet, low-key fishing community away from the tourism central fair. a must for adventurers, solo wanderers, romantic escapes, hints of Swiss Family Robinson vibes. Mike and Fatima and Mama were wonderful hosts, Mike built (literally) a beautiful, peaceful space I'll treasure for a lifetime. good folks, felt like I was leaving family on our goodbyes. will stay in touch and hopefully return again. salamt kuya! many blessings to you all.

Honestly, this was probably one of the best places I have ever been so far. I came here with a group of friends and we rented the hut by the beach. The place was amazing, the room was clean and very comfortable and the view from the upper balcony was amazing. The stay is also very beautiful, you are basically on the beach, just a few steps from the water. The location is also very nice, especially if you are looking for something more peaceful and in the nature, since except for the guests, there are not that many people going around. The host was amazing with us always very helpful and available, I've honestly never felt so welcomed somewhere, they helped us with everything from booking tours in El Nido to arranging transportation even in the middle of the night. The food was also extremely good, we had breakfast every day on the beach looking at the sea, and dinner, everything was always very good and fresh. One thing to keep in mind is the distance from El Nido, the place is around 30 minutes by scooter from the city, but the road to get there is very beautiful and definitely worth the drive.
