Die Unterkunft ist super schön gestaltet und auch die Zimmer sind sehr grosszügig und in schönem Stil eingerichtet.

Der Pool war dann doch sehr klein und auch der Aufenthaltsbereich ist eher klein gehalten. Das Personal beim Frühstücksbuffet hätte auch ruhig ein bisschen freundlicher sein dürfen.

We really enjoyed the comfortable room and the pool. The location was excellent, as we could reach everything in a very short time.

Not bad, but the vegetarian breakfast was a surprise. :)

La struttura è molto molto bella, in pieno centro storico, ma davvero silenziosa quando serve. Il personale è stato eccezionale, gentile e sempre disponibile. Colazione non troppo varia, ma comunque abbondante. La camera poteva essere migliore, un po’ spoglia e col condizionatore un pochino rumoroso.

Unica pecca per la quale manca un punto alla perfezione è la stanza, un po’ spoglia. Manca, ad esempio, uno specchio. C’è solo quello del bagno, ma se due persone devono prepararsi (uomo in bagno e donna che deve truccarsi), purtroppo c’è da attendere che il bagno si liberi. Luce un po’ morbida. Armadio piccolino. Condizionatore che fa abbastanza rumore. Tutto cose che non incidono sulla bellezza del soggiorno, ma fate qualcosa in più per le stanze e sarete perfetti.

One of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had – definitely not worth 230€ per night. From the moment we arrived, things went wrong. We needed help with our luggage and apparently there’s a golf cart service to pick you up from the parking lot – but nobody at the reception ever answered the phone. So we dragged everything through the streets ourselves. The first room they gave us looked like it hadn’t been updated since the 80s, and not in a charming way. The air-conditioning was so aggressive it was impossible to sleep, and there was visible mold in the shower. We complained and asked for another room. To our surprise, even though we were already paying 230€ per night, they wanted us to pay extra. Only after we refused did they finally give us a better room, which was at least decent. Service was another disaster. We asked for an iron several times, and for three days they told us they “didn’t know where it was.” On the third day, when we said this was unacceptable, they finally brought one – but the plug didn’t even work. Even worse, there was no ironing board at all, and the staff casually expected us to iron on the bed. At a so-called “luxury” hotel, that is simply absurd. Housekeeping was a joke. On the second day they called us to ask if we wanted our room cleaned. We said yes, of course. But when we came back later, nothing had been done. When we complained at the front desk, they actually tried to claim we had said we didn’t want housekeeping, which was an outright lie. And to make things worse, when we asked the front desk for a recommendation for a lunch spot, the staff suggested a restaurant — which, when we checked later, turned out to have the worst rating of all restaurants in Gallipoli. That alone tells you how little they care about guest experience. But the absolute worst part of the whole stay was the employee working at night. An older man, who spoke no English at all, was not only unhelpful but shockingly rude.
