"I would have expected a lot more for the money. The issues with the property could have been easily taken care of before"

7.0

Decent neighborhood. Way off the beaten path. Quiet. Plenty of room. Comfortable beds.

The listing itself is a bit deceiving. This is not park city despite what the listing states. Perhaps it’s part of -but the property is definitely not in Park City. Park city is miles away. This is more like a middle class neighborhood. At first glance the home was clean and spacious however not so much close up. The pots, pans and many of the cooking utensils were very dirty and had to be really washed before using. Another HUGE disappointment was what was available for us to cook. Of note, we booked this property for our family over Christmas. I asked the management company if the kitchen was stocked adequately with pots and pans to make Christmas dinner for my family. I was told that without a doubt there was a full kitchen. This wasn’t the case at all. I had to go out and purchase a large pot for on the stove and also baking pans. There was one baking dish. That is not enough to make a Christmas dinner for the 6 of us. The sink in the master bedroom was jammed so the water wouldn’t drain. The nightstand in the master bedroom was broken and tilted so that it couldn’t be used for a glass of water at night because it would tip over. The toilet paper holder in the master bath kept falling off the wall. Also there was a huge issue with hot water. After 2 people showered in the am , the hot water was used up and my guests had to wait over an hour to finish getting ready. And keep in mind- this is Christmas week. There was washer and dryer at the property but the washer has a nasty stench. It was very dated. There was a sign in the upstairs bathroom that warned of issues with water coming out of the shower and dripping to the first floor. But there was a flimsy shower curtain that couldn’t possibly hold water. How about putting a glass door up or at minimum a waterproof shower curtain? Ridiculous. The issues noted above aren’t huge ones in the overall scheme of things but this property was close to $7,000 dollars for 5 days and it was Christmas.
