It was a comfortable cabin

I had no idea that there was a time that I had to be there to pick up the key for the cabin. We were called at 5 pm about our stay but we were on a flight to DFW and when I tried to call thousands trails back no one answered. We arrived at thousand trails at 9:30 pm and couldn’t get in. We had to go back to whitesboro and rent a motel for the night . The next day when we went back to thousand trails the ladies in the office was very nice and took one night off of our rental but it still didn’t change the fact that I was stressing over not being able to get into the cabin the night that we had arrived! You need to let people know that they need to arrive there by a certain time or call to make arrangements to get the key for a cabin.

Very peaceful, has a pool, and they love dogs! The cabin was clean, and cute. I only wish we could see the lake! Overall, we will be back, as we felt safe there, since you have to have a code, to get in.

It would have been better if we had a Lakeview, but the lake is only about a mile away.
