Located in a nice, quiet area. Very private. Good value for money.

Unfortunately no TV and very limited parking out on the street but I didn’t have a problem getting a park.

Lovely and clean home, and comfortable bed! 😊

The only thing that was missing was a TV and also no milk, there was a message that said if you needed assistance to give them a call, but all in all was great to stay.

Cleanliness and price

Only met host twice at beginning and end. Jojo was leaving when we arrived, told us that the flat was open. She was very friendly. And then when we dropped keys off. She lives with her family in the house. The bed was comfortable enough and the living and kitchen area was spacious. The neighbourhood is fairly quiet, and there's plenty of supermarkets etc in the surrounding suburb. It was good to have a washing machine in the unit, though the drying rack was a bit wobbly to put clothes on. We were happy with the price for the six nights, as Auckland is quite expensive.

Lack of street parking was an issue, with parking only available on one side of the very narrow street. We had to park around the corner a couple of nights. My husband had golf gear, which he had to leave in the car as it was too far to carry back to the granny flat, especially when we had groceries. There was no TV in the flat, something I must have overlooked when I went through the facilities list, I guess we just expect it at most places. We relied on the internet for entertainment at night. There is also an adjoining door to the main house, which I assume was to the kitchen, and we were quite overwhelmed with strong cooking smells on one occasion. Also, a bit of noise from the children of the house, but that's what kids do, it's their home. The bedroom could do with a small fan, as our visit was in January and Auckland can get quite hot, and the room was stuffy as the window does not open much.

I adored the layout and space of the flat. It was far superior than any others of the price. It was an easy check in, and fantastic location.

The only thing that I didn't like so much was the thinness of the walls. I could hear alot of talking, television noise coming from next door.
