2 bedroom 4 person purpose built single story barn

Perfect location for visiting Barry Island and watching a friend in a show in Cardiff. Great little cafe walking distance from the barn.

A little welcome pack would have been nice like with a small bread loaf and a small bottle of milk.

Very modern, clean and comfortable property, with lovely garden, though not secure for dogs.

Could do with a heated towel rail in bathroom.

Location is beautiful, and conveniently just off the A48. Ginetta was a great host - we had a small problem on checking in, but she sorted it comprehensively within a hour. Was really impressed. Ginetta made us feel really welcome in what is a lovely cottage.

The barn was very neat and tidy and on a nice plot at the back. A coffee machine and a good shower (though it is over bath). The sofa was v comfy too. Large doors in the dining area let in lots of light and good views. In better weather the patio would be lovely (not the road noise). Hosts were very communicative and access was good. An easy walk to the Baffle Haus and they did good coffee. I know the Aubrey arms does good food as have been there previously.

These are small things. It has underfloor heating and was not on/warm on our arrival at 3pm and then was far too hot overnight. The milk was little sachets not a pint. There was no dishcloth to wash up or kitchen roll to clean down. No touches like biscuits or a cake. Double bed - had a sheet that was far too small> There was road noise, for those that don't want that

Modern, clean and simple but had everything you would need.

Pristine, spacious and on a beautiful block of land.
