Sea View's in Ocean Grove

Great location, very quiet, great views over Dunedin with rural and coastal views also. Overall a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I have to say the steep driveway with its abrupt road access was a bit of a challenge but ok if you're careful and can handle a hill start, although that actually applies to most of Dunedin anyway!

Really lovely location, quiet semi rural with a beautiful view and still close to Dunedin city. Really enjoyed our stay.

Very minor issue, Small rubbish bin in the kitchen and no extra bags or external bin. We stayed 4 days and bought food so had a fair amount of rubbish which it would have been good to be able to dispose of in an external bin.

Nicely presented property with everything you needed except the kitchen was just a microwave . Given how far away restaurants and shops are from the property better cooking facilities would be nice , a barbecue outside would be a fantastic addition

Did not like the ‘ welcome ‘ letter . Found the tone quite unpleasant and unnecessarily aggressive. Don’t really need to be told that the police will be called in the event of disturbances etc . What sort of guests do you expect ? Also , if you are going to tell guests to put the dirty crockery and cutlery in the dishwasher and run it before they leave you should perhaps provide a dishwasher .. ?

The view was amazing and the whole apartment was very comfortable.

Just two possible improves: - the bed was ok but the pillows were too big and too firm so were a challenge to sleep on coz they were really high - you can’t satisfy everyone but maybe since you had 2 pillows for each person, one could be big and one could be smaller/softwr? - and the second was the hot water - I might have just got something wrong but the person I was staying with had a 15-20min shower and then when I got it the hot water was luke warm from go. I’m a fast shower person and it didn’t get warmer. No other water was being used at the time. We swapped the order the next day and I got lovely hot shower.
