Guests highly rate the good location and frequently praise the communicative hosts.
GBLocation perfect for the train station & easy walk to all attractions. Nicely furnished with new kitchen & carpets . Good communication with host. Lovely place to stay & would definitely return.
Only 1 toilet roll provided for a 2 night stay with 4 adults.
PL
FRClose to the station and walking distance to city center.
Unluckily was one of the hotest day in the year very warm bedrooms
DEThe property was clean and in excellent shape - it looks newly remodeled. The games room is a great plus for trips with bigger kids. Everything was perfect. And additionally - we left a sentimentally valuable ring at the property and the hosts found it, kept it, and arranged to get it back to me. Thank you sooo much!!
NZSpacious and quiet. Great location. Perfect for two couples passing through Oxford. Games room is a nice addition.
Guest compendium needs more info on how to use washing machine for overseas guests used to separate washing machines and dryers, and where to put recycling.
GBThe location was perfect, as it was close to where we needed to go and there were plenty of amenities close by. We were close to the river, which was an added bonus. We were also close to a train station, so it would be ideal for anyone travelling by train.
One of the main roads was closed off, which made it difficult to travel by car but most amenities were in close walking distance so it wasn't a major concern for us. There are a lot of roadworks being carried out at the end of the road, but we didn't notice any noise until Monday so it didn't affect our stay.
GBStayed here for Christmas with family and it was perfect for our needs. Comfortable beds and sofa. My grandson loved the games room. Plenty of space to sit and eat together.
Pipework was a bit noisy when running the taps.
GBKey box was easy to locate, property is located well and the rooms are a good size, the bed in the main room is huge and comfy. There are some games and books, the darts provided do not have usable flights unfortunately.
The whole house needs deep cleaning, the kitchen could do with some basics like tea bags. The shower has black mould and in general the place feels run down and grotty. Its the worst place we have stayed for cleanliness. The whole house needs maintenance, the plumbing is really noisy and the shower doesn't work if any other tap is turned on.
GBWe were very pleased to find somewhere dog friendly in such a good location! Loved the games room which provided much entertainment! And a lovely little basket of treats left for us too which were very well received! Good sized comfy beds too. Communicative hosts who were very understanding when we accidentally got curry on their tablecloth! Thanks also for the disability adjustments really appreciated it.
Garden and bathroom shower seals could do with some TLC and the water system is very noisy when taps are used but overall we had a lovely time and would stay again! And responsive hosts so sure this will be dealt with soon. We didn't realise that we could have booked a parking permit ahead of time which would have been very handy but we found a reasonably priced car park 8 mins away (Oatlands)
AUGreat hosts. Beautiful house. Easy walk to the centre of town. Highly recommended!
