WORST Rental experience ever. Please don’t trust the reviews on this site, because the owner negotiates refunds for not posting negative reviews. The property is old, poorly maintained, and mosquito-infested. Despite its beachfront location, the beach smelled of sargassum and the house had numerous issues like the smell of sewage, and frequent electricity shortages, which meant we had no air-conditioning, toilet flushing and no refrigeration. The owner was disingenuous, avoiding communication and was unreachable when problems arose, and he even tried to negotiate reviews for a refund and threatened to cancel it when we didn’t accept the terms. They asked for a 1000 pesos deposit on arrival that wasn’t mentioned anywhere. They even charge you for extra toilet rolls if you run out. Overall, the stay was a nightmare, and the owners clearly don’t care about their guests. Avoid this place if you value honest and responsible management.
