Arianna apartment 10

The property is in a good location, but this is all it has going for it.

When we arrived, they had rented out the apartment we booked and paid for on booking.com to someone else. The apartment they gave us was filthy with black mould covering the shower curtain - they refused to replace this, instead washing it. The mould would not come off, but they said they had washed it and I was overreacting, and that it was hair dye, which it obviously was not. I have two small children and black mould is dangerous. We were not compensated for being put in a different apartment- which didn’t have a sea view, instead there was no privacy as it was looked in on from the pool area. There were squashed mosquitos and blood on the walls. The apartment was run down, with even basic things like light fixtures broken, and kitchen cupboards and draws that wouldn’t open. The hosts were rude. If there was any other accommodation options available in the area we would have left. These apartments are not worth over €300 a night!

The view was breathtaking, the surroundings were really authentic and romantic. The hotel was very nice with wooden furniture and big terrace, typically cozy and authentic Greek. The pool was a great surprise as it was really good for swimming and clean.

The beds were a bit hard and uncomfortable for our taste. There were no mosquito nets although there was an anti mosquito machine in the room, but there were too many mosquitoes, so we couldn't leave the windows open and had to sleep on air conditioning. The room was cleaned only once for 7 nights and the sheets were never changed, but only the towels. We might haven't paid attention to this information when we had made the reservation but it was something we didn't expect and had never experienced in a Greek hotel.
