AUThe location was good (once I learned about the bus stop to Newport being a short walk away) and handy to local shops and bars/cafes. Apartment itself was quite comfortable, and clean. I liked the bedroom decor…very stylish. It supplied everything I needed.
Just a couple of things… The bathroom (understandably) was very small and the door was hard to manage. I also couldn’t work out the heating, once I got it on. I thought I had it turned off when I left in the morning only to come back later to find it on. It came on automatically one morning as well. Some instructions would be helpful here.
GBGBThe flat is in a great location with the high street at the end of the road. It’s also smart and tidy, everything you need for a weekend away. Highly recommend!
We only didn’t like two things, the blinds in the bedroom didn’t stop much light coming through so could do with blackout blinds. The other thing that was a little frustrating was the bathroom door, as it is split in two so folds up and is just quite fiddly as the bathroom is small. We’d still highly recommend this flat to a friend or book again ourselves if we went back to Cowes.
GBThis is the second time that I had stayed there so I already knew that the location was perfect as it is just a short walk to the Cowes Marina. That means it's also a ten-minute walk to Cowes High Street. The apartment layout is very modern with a very well-equipped kitchen, and large walk-in shower and plenty of hanging space in the bedroom. The host asked if I was driving and when I gave him my reg number he arranged a digital car parking permit alowing us to park outside the appartment. This was an excellent touch from a host who knows how to look after his guests.
Not much to dislike. Perhaps the bedroom curtains could be a bit thicker and a handrail put in place on the wall where the steps go up to the door.
