Quaint 3 bed Cottage in central Dorking with parking

We had a wonderful stay in Valerie's cottage. Though we didn't have the chance to meet her in person, everything was so well organized it felt like she was there to welcome us when we arrived. The cottage itself was perfect for us, a family of four with a dog, it's very cosy and it has everything you need for a comfortable stay (functional kitchen, washing facilities, etc). Location is great too, close to supermarkets, a park and only 10-15 mins from the train station. Valerie also organized walks for our dog during our two day trips to London.

A comfy house with everything you would need. It has a parking space, an essential thing in Dorking, and is very near to the centre of town so you can walk everywhere. Valerie provides bread and milk and a warm welcome.

Such a great house for our stay in Dorking, was just what we needed when arriving in the UK! Beds comfortable and all amenities available - loved the proximity to the shops and restaurants too!

Op loopafstand dorp en supermarkt en ook park met speeltuin. Bij vineyard laadstation auto (5 minuten) en lekker rondje voor hond. In ruim uur met trein/ auto naar Londen, nabij andere activiteiten national trust. Ruimer dan op foto, heel compleet ingericht.

Location was great, just off the high street and access to local amenities. Plenty of shops, places to eat and pubs less that a 5 minute walk away. There are plenty of appliances to benefit from and the rear courtyard was lovely for a cuppa and a drink. The little touches of leaving some milk and bread also highly appreciated on arrival.

The shower. It's a lovely shower, but it was running cold at first because the mixer tap didnt work. It would be useful to advise guests to use the bath taps to adjust it rather than the shower tap.

Valerie is a wonderful host and the house was clean, perfectly located and ideal for our needs.

The cottage is in a very convenient location in Dorking and is easy walking distance to the high street whilst still being very quiet. It is well furnished and heated, and the courtyard is a lovely sun trap with rocking chairs and a table and chairs for meals. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. There were enough pots and kitchen utensils to be able to cook for ourselves for dinner.

It would be handy to have some instructions for both the temperature control on the shower and the dryer component of the washer/dryer.
