Twin Apartment 1 in Bratislava - With parking

Good location

The blinds are byfar not enough to block sunlight in the bedroom. It was very bright already at 5 AM in the morning, that ruined our sleep. Also leaving only 1 1/3 roll of toilet paper for 3 people staying for 4 days is a bit stingy.

The apartment looks exactly like in the pictures, it is very clean and somehow gives the feeling of a newly renovated space (although it is not). It is located in a beautiful residential building with a cafe, bakery, mini-markets and pharmacy on the ground floor. It was very comfortable, with good beds and fully equipped kitchen. Also, being winter, I truly appreciated that it was nice and warm in the apartment, but for fresh air you had the large balcony accessible from both rooms. The city centre is 20 minutes away on foot or a few minutes by tram no. 3, which could be taken from the station in front of the apartment building. But we didn't manage to buy tickets :)

The apartment is advertised as having a parking lot, and I thought that this meant parking somewhere on the street around the building and of course for free. But it wasn't like that, and that's what I found out the day before I arrived. So I had to pay for the parking and the spot suggested was somewhere 10 minutes walk from the apartment. The price wasn't a problem, around 12 euros for almost 48 hours, but the fact that it was far away and the only parking lot in the area. And we had a lot of luggage and it was not comfortable at all. Then, there was the fact that we had to leave a deposit of 100 euro (using a website different than Booking); we got them back after about 7 days, but it was still an small inconvenience.

It was not very clean, There was damp in the apartment, and there were drying rugs in the living room, which was unpleasant.

The apartment was relatively well-equipped with everything necessary. It was fairly clean and modern, though some items were a bit worn out. The location, while far from the center, was convenient to reach thanks to the nearby tram stop.

The apartment was noisy due to its proximity to the road and tram tracks, which made it uncomfortable with open windows. Upon arrival, there was a drying rack with laundry in the room, which was unpleasant. Additionally, the use of the Rentalls website required data verification and a €100 deposit, which was inconvenient. There was limited storage space, making it more suitable for two people rather than three.

Staff were helpful. The app used provides some useful information but it feels really impersonal. Flat was clean and beds were comfy.

Process really cumbersome...only an hour before our check in I was told the document scan I sent was not clear and staff would give us access to keys...whilst on public transport with children not great. We had to ask for extra towels as no hand towels were provided, staff were helpful and delivered on same day. The flat would really benefit from some hooks where to put clothes in the bedroom, and extra chairs (only 2 provided for a flat for 4).

Very clean property and the instructions for the key collection were pretty good.
