It's a wonderful place in a beautiful region with great mountains and we found a gorgeous lake. We loved the views and animales. The lady of the house was super friendly and helpful. The house was spacious, very clean and nicely decorated. It was cosy and had everything we needed. The kitchen also. The garden was beautiful and the lady has beautiful cats. There is private parking within the gate, so the dog can walk freely. The lady was available and very sweet. She stayed on the bottom floor but wasn't bothered by our childrens noise. Our children enjoyed the garden and the pets and the mountains and at night the beautiful starry sky.

The road to the house is a dirt roads , very steep and many turns. With our big car a challenge. Also the parking space is on the hill, so we were a bit afraid it would move while parked. The supermarket in the little town nearby is very small, has a lot of essentials, but is very expensive.

A simple house in the countryside, very spacious, quiet location, large living room, seating in front of the house and in the garden, kitchen equipped with the necessary, friendly host (unfortunately speaks little English). Excursions nearby are Rieti, Lago di Turano, shopping in Toricella (15 minutes by car), supermarket in Osteria Nuova or Rieti (each 30 minutes by car). Very good and very cheap connection by bus to Rome (air-conditioned, round trip plus local transport in Rome 9 €/person), bus stop e.g. on the SS4 at Ornaro Basso.

Last stretch to the house (approx. 500 m) unpaved, stony road, very narrow courtyard driveway. The host has a lot of cats that stay around the house.
