It's a calm and peaceful guest house

We enjoyed being close to the mountains, having a large bedroom with a view of the mountains, a kitchen to cook our meals, and a very peaceful and quiet balcony to relax. Vadim was also a fantastic host! He was very welcoming, kind and helpful.

We would love more cooking pans and a place to sit outside.

The place is really near the mountain, in 15/20 min by walk you can have a view over Almaty and the mountains. We had a big room for 2 and it was luminous. Vadim is a great host ! Really helpful.

Only one bathroom/toilet for 4/5 rooms, soon there will be more bathrooms. A dog was noisy during few nights... The sound isolation is not that good.

Karim and Anastasia were excellent hosts, and were very helpful in terms of helping plan a day around the city. The house in itself is in one of the cleanest neighbourhoods on the city. The bed was comfortable, and I did actually apot squirrels jumping around. A 10/10 stay!

Nice location, good hosts. They even offered snacks and information about the mountains. For a small fee they also take you there (competitive price with Yandex)

Staying with Vadim and Anastasia was like being home with friend and family. They are amazing hosts!! They do whatever needed to help with their guests. The house was almost occupied in all rooms (with a great variety of fabulous people) and we had access to everything. The kitchen is not very big but has all it's needed and I could cook my meals all the time. There's only one bathroom but I never had to wait either. The house is a 10 minute walk from bus 15 and 15 minutes from bus 28. No. 15 will take you to the city and 28 also to Almaty but to the National Park. From there, you can go in two directions (either hiking, hitch-hiking of by taxi). It's quiet and nice in the evenings, cooler than the city and you're already in the mountains. There's a couple of hikes starting at walking distance too. I highly recommend the stay with Vadim and Anastasia. THey are incredible!! (and Sultan is the easiest dog in the world!)

The outdoors of the house is awesome too. Maybe adding a table and a couple of chairs (even plastic ones) could make it nice so you can have some food outside when the weather is nice :-)

I am a cyclist, for me, this is the perfect place to training. The room is in a clean, excellent location, and the house is located in the mountains and close to nature, fresh air, and the silence of nature. Master hospitable and willing to help with everything, gave me useful tips about local attractions and recommended the best hiking routes.
