The location was perfect as it was only a five minute drive away from my mum's house. The proprietor was friendly and welcoming. The room was warm and cosy. The shower was good. Although situated on a main road no noise came into the room.

My matteress was a little too firm but that is just a personal preference.

Location for visiting hospital was ideal and there was quite a decent carpark area which was a relief as we'd had quite a drive. Staff were friendly and breakfast was value for money & it all felt very relaxed. Our room looked directly at the windmill which was unusual and lovely! We would return if in area.

Squeaky floor in bathroom - understandable as a lovely old building - I just dont like to make noises at night.

A fab old fashion pub with accommodation. Paddy, the host was very welcoming and accommodating. We had our dogs with us during our stay, and the pooches were made more than welcome and a very secure beer garden for the dogs to exercise. Our room was very spacious, the bed was really comfortable and the view was great. Really good value for money. We also had breakfast during our stay, good portion sizes, tasty, copious amounts of coffe if required, and reasonably priced too.
