Lovely cottage, central, very confortable, warm and really cosy.

The cottage is excellently appointed and very clean. As its name implies, it is cosy, comfortable and warm. It is very close to the town centre but very quiet. There were lots of nice goodies on arrival (even if we didn't use them all). Henry, the owner, responded quickly to messages.

For us, having cycled there, nothing, though if we'd arrived by car we'd have needed to find a long stay car parking space nearby.

A very quiet spot with a lovely view from the bedroom. Nice little courtyard too. And yet just a couple of hundred yards from the High Street. Also a nice walk to Burghley house. Kitchen appliances easy to use and worked fine. Lots of nice goodies left for breakfast and beyond... Thanks! Good restaurant recommendations.. we enjoyed the Mad Turk

My arthritic friend found the bed in the front bedroom quite low. However, the staircase, with a good handrail, was absolutely no problem

The property was ideal for me, it was well presented and everything i needed was available, parking was an issue but there was a carpark 50 yards from the house. I will definitely use it again when i visit the area.

Nothing - i could not fault it

The location was very central which we loved. Nice & peaceful, no noisy neighbours. Great to have a main bathroom & en-suite. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Cute courtyard. Wi-if good. Handy car park nearby, rates reasonable.

There was a slight smoky odour but nothing that a scented candle wouldn’t resolve. The sofa cushions could do with refilling & maybe a mattress upgrade on the beds. Lacking a bit of kerb appeal but didn’t affect our enjoyment once indoors.
