"Excellent accommodation in a quiet area of Cardiff."

The property is compact but very well designed and has a full bedroom, a small shower room and a well equipped kitchen - in fact it has everything you could possibly need. There was tea and coffee and the hosts left fresh milk in the fridge. The surroundings are very nice with a large pond and park at the bottom of the road. Location is very good for the hospital

It was self contained and had everything that you could need The extras like milk, Welsh cakes and cereal were lovely as was the food to feed the swans

"Amazing find - will definitely stay again when visiting daughter in Cathays."

The host met us and because it was raining, he let us in rather than letting us get soaked while using the lockbox. He was charming.

Nothing but perhaps a smaller bin in the kitchen as we felt bad putting two teabags in the big one!

"Swan Lake Lodge"

We liked everything. Phil and Tedi have thought of everything to make it a great stay. The place was extremely clean and a lot of thought has gone into making you feel welcome. Couldn't fault anything, they left a welcome pack which was a lifesaver as we didn't arrive till late. Would definitely return. Would highly recommend to anyone.

"Fabulous Weekend Stay"

Perfect for a weekend away, with everything we needed. Our hosts were lovely and accommodating and offered us rain ponchos for an outdoor gig we were attending. Additionally, we were happily able to do a relaxed, late check-out, which we very much appreciated.

No hooks on the bathroon door for towels and the towel rail next to the wash basin needs another location. But honestly, these are so minor and did not detract from our stay.

"Cosy accommodation in Cardiff"

The location was excellent and exactly as described. The accommodation itself was exceptionally well stocked with a host of small touches that made our stay extremely comfortable - shower gel, breakfast cereals and milk were there and even a packet of bird food so that we could feed the ducks and swans at the lake. Check in was easy and the rook was perfect for our needs. .
