Swan Lake Lodge & free parking

Lovely quiet self contained space with full functioning kitchen (complete with complimentary Welsh cakes and 2 pints of milk) and a light filled double bedroom with space for a desk and a sofa. Bed great. Owners friendly (I failed to read my messages so I could have let myself in with the door code) and even left out food to feed the swans on the lake side walk

Had a lovely stay here recently. It was very clean and there were some nice touches such as leaving us cereal and milk. Loved the location as was close to a beautiful park, which we made the most of in the sunny weather. Friendly hosts. Thank you.

Spacious and lovely hosts

Friendly welcome from the owners and a willingness to resolve any queries quickly. The heating was already on before my arrival - very welcome on a cold May day. It was also good to have the necessary supplies for a drink and breakfast on arrival without any rush to the nearest supermarket (especially as it was raining!) I was also given a bag of bird food to feed the many wild birds on the magnificent lake only 200 yards away from their home. A good way to make some avian friends.

Phil and Tedy were very accommodating, we arrived 2 hours before scheduled but were allowed access which was very much appreciated. We were in Cardiff for a concert at the Principality and the location was great with a train station just a short walk away. Would highly recommend. PS the Welsh cakes were lovely.
