Wellies & Waves

This is a beautifully designed lodge. Extremely attractive with a wonderful log burner and lots of very sweet personal touches. It is very much an 'experience' in a lovely part of the world! We would recommend. Must be simply stunning in the summer. Great communication throughout.

The check in time could be earlier so customers could arrive in the daylight in the middleof winter, 3 pm is preferable. Would have preferred a winter duvet. We were cold at night as heating would go off. We were expecting a full English breakfast with mushrooms beans etc and a fresh pastry as in most BnB's we have ever stayed in.

The barn was very well equipped, tastefully decorated, warm and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent, delivered to our door and several extras provided as treats. If anyone loves cooking, there are enough cookery books on the shelves to keep you happy for weeks!

Maybe nervous drivers might not like the narrow lanes around there!

Difficult one lane road to get there

My wife and I came down to Salcombe with the bikes and paddle boards for an adventure weekend in Salcombe. Wellies and Waves was absolutely perfect for what we wanted with lovely accommodation, welcoming and friendly hosts and a great breakfast. If you want a lovely quiet stay in the countryside away from the hustle and bustle of Salcombe but still close enough to get to everything within a short drive or cycle ride then this is your spot!

Beautiful location and property. The property was beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need for a stay away. Jamie was very friendly and gave helpful recommendations that enhanced our stay. This ranged from fabulous places to eat and must see locations. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

There wasn't anything about this property that we didn't like. The setting was very peaceful and relaxing and the property itself was a place you could feel at home.

Really lovely property, decorated amazing, like a luxury hotel feel but also very homely and rustic. Great location, 15 minute drives from lovely beaches, Salcombe and lovely restaurants/ pubs. Website was great too for all the places they recommended, we visited nearly all of them! The breakfast was fantastic also as well as great communication from the owners. Lovely little details were thought of in the property. Would definitely recommend and will be returning ☺️
