This would have to be one of the best apartments I have stayed in plenty of room,massive rooms in fact, the location was very convenient and if you are happy to walk around the city, you can get to most of the attractions quite easily.

We encountered a big problem with parking and I think we should have been informed about parking in Budapest in advance. Already when booking the accommodation, I wrote that we would be traveling with 2 cars and that we would need parking spaces. There was no answer to this question. In practice, we traveled with 3 cars, because later another friend joined us (we informed both Booking and the host about this in advance) and we became 8 guests, and the apartment can even accommodate 10 people. To park one car, we had secured a space in the underground parking lot nearby. We left the other two cars on the street in front of the hotel after local residents told us that parking until 10pm on Friday is paid at the machine on the street, and after 10pm on Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday is free. The parking machine was not working and we were subsequently told by other people that it was switched off on purpose because the spaces are for residents only. On Saturday morning (04/05/2024) we were surprised - both cars had clamps placed on one of the rear wheels and a sticker for a fine of HUF 11,500 (about EUR 29.53). On Sunday morning we phoned the parking enforcement officers to pay the fine and remove the clamps. It turned out that another HUF 13,000 (about EUR 33.36) had to be paid by bank transfer for each car. To issue the fine documents, the parking officers spent 40 minutes entering all possible data from the driver's ID cards into their mobile device, even asking for the names of their mothers. We felt like criminals without being guilty of it! There was no information anywhere about the parking rules in this area and we strongly feel that it was the property manager's responsibility to inform us in advance what to expect and where to park. Moreover, the name of the place of accommodation says "D3 Basilica Luxury Spacious Free Parking".

Location and comfort

The apartment is amazing. I think it is THE best place I have ever stayed in. It is very clean and spacious apartment. Also, you get free parking in the garage next door, so you can park you car and enjoy the city center by walking.

Everything is great, if I have to visit Budapest again, I would choose this apartment, but I have one note for the owner of the apartment, to give a little more attention and help to his guests.
