Chic & Luxurious 2-BR Escape Designed for Elegance

An absolutely beautiful apartment, with an interior decor that was a work of art. Some real love, care and attention to detail has gone into it, and it was spotlessly clean. The location was also fantastic, a little side street off the main high street. Would I stay there again? Without hesitation. It was perfect, and my family loved it.

OK, a few minor gripes. (1) The hot water tank didn't have enough capacity to fill the bath, which meant if you wanted a bath, you needed 12 kettles of hot water to top it off. Not ideal and an irritant. (2) the plugs were UK three-pronged, yet the applicances were two pronged (EU). Yet when we tried to plug our EU plugs in, the wall sockets wouldn't let us, and also wouldn't let us plug back in the lights. An irritant. (3) The pre-booking questionnaire was long, involved and an irritant, with software error glitches - all the info was in our Genius 3 Profile, but clearly the staff couldn't be bothered to port that over and instead asked us to fill out a big questionnaire ourselves. Lazy and an irritant (4) the pre-booking communication was 'functional' and asked us to fill out the questionnaire or 'there could be problems with the booking' - we didn't like the officious tone. Welcoming it was not. So yes, a few gripes.

Sehr hübsches und gemütliches Apartment. Im Zentrum von Gibraltar, aber trotzdem ruhig. Sehr sauber und gute Ausstattung. Im Prinzip netter Kontakt zu Vermieter-Agentur.

Am ersten Tag war die Batterie der Schloss-Tastatur fast leer, aber das Problem wurde sofort behoben. An unserem Abreisetag ist unser Gepäck im Fahrstuhl steckengeblieben. Die Agentur hat zwar sofort jemanden beauftragt um zu helfen, aber da es leider Sonntag war, warteten wir 3 Stunden vergeblich auf der Strasse. Wie haben letztendlich selbst die Feuerwehr gebeten uns zu helfen. Wir hätten uns mehr Info und Aufmerksamkeit von Seiten der Agentur in dieser unangenehmen Situation gewünscht, die nur auf ständiger Nachfrage unsererseits kam. Man sagte uns, das Fahrstuhl- und Tastatur-Problem gingen auf Batterie-Probleme zurück, daher sollte vermutlich die Wartung des Gebäudes verbessert werden.
