Great location and nice flat, shame about the bed and kettle.

The bed was absolutely awful to the point where you couldn’t get a good nights sleep. If I’d have been in a hotel I would have asked for a topper or to move rooms. The cost of this was not cheap and due to the lack of sleep I wished we had booked elsewhere. We were also on top floor with no lift.

Really nice set out,everything was provided.

Nothing we didn't like, in future, maybe just a thorough check before people move in as 3 very minor issues, such as the iron wasn't working, the washing machine was a little smelly, and the freezer was iced up. Like I said, all minor issues.

Great studio apartment, quiet location near central Clifton. Modern facilities, lovely bathroom and comfy bed. Highly recommend.

No air con.

It was in the perfect location. Very close to amenities and public transport. Very walkable to a number of attractions. A very comfortable apartment.

The apartment could have been cleaner. Surfaces very clean, but woodwork (skirtings, doors etc.) need some attention.

Having stayed at this property last year for work, I was keen to re-book it when I needed to come back this year. I had really enjoyed my stay and gave it a good review online. I booked the same studio and received confirmation of this at the time, however when I arrived I discovered that I had actually been given a different, cheaper, studio in the building. I contacted Hopewell about this and was told it must have been an error as the other studio had been occupied for several months. I had received confirmation by email and via Booking.com at the time, so it was unclear how this error could have been made. When I pointed out the price difference between the apartments, I was told that they cost the same (they don't) but was offered a £30 refund for this and asked for my banking details which I promptly gave. I have still not received a reply or the £30. (continued below...)

(... continued...) The next day, one night into my three night stay, the shower suddenly stopped working. I was aware that the electric shower was temperamental (I had in fact made reference to this in the other studio, in my review last year) but this time, rather than the annoying constant temperature fluctuations, there was no water at all. I again made contact and got a quick reply. I was told someone would come round the next day to check the shower, and as I was due to be out all day I agreed. The next evening, when I returned from a conference, tired and in need of a shower (it was extremely hot at the time) I discovered the shower still didn't work and no note had been left or message sent to me to let me know if anyone had come round or not and what the situation was. I sent several messages after this, via text and the Booking.com site and have received absolutely no responses. I have also contacted Hopewell directly. It is not acceptable to have no shower facilities for two nights out of a three night stay and I am extremely disappointed in the lack of response thus far to my request for a night's reimbursement (as well as the £30). I have also not yet received my deposit back, which was returned very swiftly on the previous occasion. I actually held off writing this review in the hope that it would be resolved first. I still really like these apartments and would still consider returning but this situation has been very badly handled.

Very convenient in Clifton for where we needed to be based. Well equipped, modern and clean. Easy and clear check in and check out.

The mattress could have had a topper to make it more comfortable. There was no loo brush. If you turn the bed around the renters could have bedside reading lights - a lack of these was annoying. Desk space would have been useful. A little hard to find as there is a flat on the opposite side which has a similar number. Perhaps specify in the directions as I think the lady in the flat often has people ringing her bell!!
