Wait N Sea

We have been staying here for 2 weeks and have loved every minute of it. The apartment is perfect for 2 people and the fact that there is a kitchen area and a fridge in the room means that you can make breakfasts and lunches and cups of tea and coffee at the apartment rather than eat out all of the time. The bed is comfy and the bathroom is well equipped. The fan keeps the room cool enough but the room will be upgraded to a/c in the near future. The shower is cool but we found this was actually a benefit on the many days when the weather is really hot. The hosts Sahan and his wife Narangela are lovely people and wonderful hosts who will do everything to make your stay enjoyable including providing bottled water, tea and coffee for the kitchen, doing regular room cleans and even doing laundry for you at no extra cost. The little details like the quality sheets and beautiful plants around the apartment just make things more special. They also cooked a wonderful meal of Sri Lankan rice and curry dishes which they brought to us one evening and the food was amazing. The apartment is in a quiet part of Madiha, but is close to 2 good cafes/restaurants called Sand-bank and Swell Cafe and is literally 30 seconds from the beach. If you surf, like me, the location is perfect.

There was nothing we didn’t like!

Great location, just a minute to the beach, you can even see the ocean from the terrace. Also a couple of restaurants around. Rooms are very clean and super new. It's nice to have a little private terrace infront. The owners are really friendly, welcoming and helpful. :-)

I really enjoyed my stay at Wait N Sea. It’s very clean and comfortable. You have everything you need and can reach the beach in less than one minute. The hosts are very nice as well! I can only recommend!
