La Terrazza

On leaving I handed in my key at the supermarket below and tried to buy a bottle of water for my cycle. The man at the checkout advised me on a the best route and gave me the water for free. It cheered me up after a generally unpleasant stay.

When I arrived my room was like an oven. The air conditioning unit in my room didn’t work. When I informed the owner, I was curtly told that it was fine and was “automatic”. I had read the AC manual online and could see the flashing symbol on the unit indicated a fault, but the owner had no interest in a discussion, blithely saying something about it coming on when the temperature outside changed, maybe around 10pm. I spent a sleepless night in a 24 degree room with an inoperative AC unit. Please, please fix this issue and do not put any more guests through the same ordeal!
