Modern - two bed - apartment located in the city of Wolverhampton

The location was great right in the centre of town!

Baring in mind we stayed for 8 nights. Unfortunately the sofa was very uncomfortable, the beds were also very uncomfortable could feel the springs that then ended up hurting my back. The wooden slats underneath the bed kept falling through so we had to keep putting them back up. Felt like we were going to fall through the bed at any time. We had to buy our own saucepan and pan to cook as the ones provided were stored in a really dirty cupboard and unable to use as very burnt out and not acceptable to use. The window in the kitchen/ lounge area wouldn’t shut at anytime so we had to have it open the whole stay. Baring in mind we were there for 8 nights, 1 toilet roll was provided would have been nice to have at least 2/3. It was very difficult to sleep as the blinds didn’t cover out hardly any light and early hours of the morning could hear everything going on outside even with the window shut! No tea towel provided for the kitchen either. No toaster which is a normal essential for an apartment. There were also no tray for cutlery it was all just thrown in a draw.

The quality of the furnishings, bed slats broke on one bed, mattresses not confortable and only one pillow per bed. Bedside tables , drawers were ill fitting and bottom falling out of one of them. On one of the quilts , cover snips didn't close on them Window in living room didn't close , so a bit annoying during windy weather. Couch was a bit uncomfortable .

Perfect location as it sat in the centre of town and a couple of minutes walk to both the bus and train stations. Landlord responded very quickly (and respectfully) to not having induction saucepans to use on cooker. This was a simple oversight and offered to try resolve the problem immediately.

The noise outside was easily heard in the bedrooms at night even though the windows were closed (from 3am -5:30am people shouting and banging and then scaffolding/construction work also started at 7am) so we didn’t get much sleep if I’m honest. Parts of the blind missing and no curtains to block out cold air + light coming into the rooms. The beds weren’t comfortable (slats out of place and broken in double room so you would drop through to the floor if sitting on the bed) & very flimsy frames+mattresses+pillows in single beds in room 2. Kitchen oven was still dirty so it set fire alarm off if used + fridge&freezer had food from previous guests inside. Surface areas were clean. Walls of property exceptionally dirty but bathroom was clean and tidy.

My colleagues refused to stay due to poor conditions of property. Would definitely not recommend to anyone.

After speaking with the owner, she advised me to start the cancellation process and assured me that I would not be charged. I followed her instructions, but she apparently did not respond to my cancellation request. As a result, I have been left without the property and without the amount I paid.

It was modern. Spacious and clean

The double bed had a few slats broken and the mattress very thin. 2 single beds were uncomfortable (had to go try to sleep on the little settee) 1 pillow each which were thin and flat. No toaster in the kitchen, no remote to work the tv. No furniture in bedrooms to hang clothes. No shelves in bathroom for toiletries. It was an apartment for 4 people but only a 2 seater settee and 1 chair and 3 dining chairs?

Location is top. Host is friendly.

Facilities: more towels, more toilet paper, and maybe some little shampoos.
