Stunning location on the beach, within the Paternoster waterfront precinct. Comfortable accommodation.

Difficult to find the place if you dont know it's at the back of the waterfront precinct but Sanet directed us once we phoned.

Quite difficult to find, directions were not great. The Parking for this Unit was difficult, to get in and out of. Light at the door did not work. There were an odd number of glasses, and utensils, and of bad quality. They did, however, bring us more and better glasses, when we asked. The one couch is very uncomfortable, so, only one couch to sit on. Floors were dirty. outside furniture very uncomfortable.

The location was excellent. Right on the seafront overlooking the beautiful bay.

Unit was very clean and contained all that we needed. Beautiful view and good parking.

The only thing I would like to suggest is if there could be a pair of braai tongs available. Braai facilities are provided but a pair of tongs would be great.

The location.

The apartment has a beautiful view but unfortunately it's poorly managed. We stayed at this waterfront 2 years ago and it was lovely. We couldn't find the braai grid, had to message the property manager, then saw that the indoor fireplace glass was broken and we were unable to use it. It was cold and raining and one of the main reasons why we booked this property was to be able to sit around the indoor fireplace and catch up on life, away from the hustle and bustle. It was supposed to be a romantic birthday getaway and this spoiled it so much. If we were aware of this, we would have canceled our booking and rather booked somewhere else where we could enjoy an indoor fireplace during the cold rainy evenings. The property management offered discount on a next booking directly with them but it's not okay and we are disappointed as to how this was handled. They are also ignoring Booking.com and feel cheated. On our day of disembarkation it was a very cold morning and still raining and we didn't have hot water and had to call the property management again to bring gas. The bathroom window hinges is so old and stuck that one is unable to open it properly and also can't close it at all. Strange people have access and can walk through on the beach side and walked past our front sliding door a few times which means that we didn't have much privacy and it is a potential security risk. (These weren't people that stayed in the waterfront but seemed like fishermen/ possible poachers)They definitely need to have security on the premises. Beautiful location but unfortunately poorly managed and they take zero responsibility. We feel that we should be compensated for the 2 nights that we sat indoors and couldn't use the highlight feature of this apartment, the indoor fireplace. Our main goal was to relax, cut off from work, electronics and to hear the fire crackling while catching up. We drove 230km there and back, just to leave disappointed.

The location was exactly what we were looking for.
